American " Labor Day" Falsehood

* What is the true ' Purpose ' of Labor Day celebrations?? * " Spend Money " !! *
The following statements are excerpts from ' TLC Family " Why Do We Celebrate Labor Day? ".
~ Labor Day is a day set aside to pay tribute to working men and women. It has been celebrated as a national holiday in the
United States and Canada since 1894.~
~ Most historians credit Peter McGuire, general secretary of the Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners and a cofounder of the American Federation of Labor, with the original idea of a day for workers to show their solidarity. Others credit Matthew Maguire, later the secretary of Local 344 of the International Association of Machinists in Paterson, N.J.~  ( There is no date to indicate or claim for a national ' Labor ' holiday at Their  time. )
~" President Grover Cleveland " signed a law designating the first Monday in September as Labor Day nationwide. This is interesting because Cleveland was not a labor union supporter. In fact, he was trying to repair some political damage that he suffered earlier that year when he sent federal troops to put down a strike by the American Railway Union at the Pullman Co. in Chicago, IL. That action resulted in the deaths of 34 workers.~
~ Membership in labor unions in the United States reached an all-time high in the 1950s when about 40 percent of the work force belonged to unions. Today, union membership is about 14 percent of the working population. Labor Day now carries less significance as a celebration of working people and more as the end of summer. Schools, government offices and businesses are closed on Labor Day so people can get in one last trip to the beach or have one last cookout before the weather starts to turn colder.~ To Spend Money...
~ Late 1885/Early 1886...Hundreds of thousands of American workers, increasingly determined to resist subjugation to capitalist power, poured into a fledgling labor organization, the Knights of Labor.
~ Hundreds of thousands of American workers, increasingly determined to resist subjug
ation to capitalist power, poured into a fledgling labor organization, the Knights of Labor. ~ Fears of violent class conflict gripped the city. ~ On Monday, May 3, a fight involving hundreds broke out at McCormick Reaper between locked-out unionists and the non-unionist workers McCormick hired to replace them. The Chicago police, swollen in number and heavily armed, quickly moved in with clubs and guns to restore order. They left four unionists dead and many others wounded.~
   The many tragedies, deaths, that were provoked by American industrial organizations and their government of the United States
in the early years of American business development and American industrial manufacturing, the government of the United States  purposely eliminated government representation and government protection ' for the laborer, the wage earner, the proletariat. The tragedies that hampered the economic ability, financial ability, for the common laborer to overcome their plight did not evade, by pass,  the ' non-union laborer '. Unionization instilled and installed a meaning of hope, pride and self-respect for the ' common citizen ' to provide financial security for their family needs. Non-Union laborers did not attain the financial security of unionized employees.
    In the late 1980'S an American government political shift in economic political policy immersed or American government shift in political economic policy immersed that concentrated on the elimination of the American civilians individual personal dollar savings. This individual personal dollar savings would be the end to personal or private accumulation of dollars of the American civilian society to be redirected to accelerated price increase. The governors of several states issued policies and programs to dissolve unionized state contracts with teachers' unions, secretarial unions, all unions
committed to acclaim wage benefits, medical benefits and other benefits that were negotiated to employees and by employees in exchange for an increase in wages. The American civilian employees lost their financial security. The American business complex the and American industrial complex designed economic programs and policies and financial programs and policies to capture the earned wages of the American laborer and enforced a " Dept For Life " economic policy that accelerates a continuous increased credit obligations and a continuous increased cost for life obligation that instills a poverty level forever.
   The American Civilian Society has lapsed into a mentally degenerate society that has approached the mental gauge of retardation
that is influenced and regressed with the American government psychosis of ' Equality ' to the lowest demonination of appreciation of a human value for life. The American Civilian Society of the1880'S fought the American Government; The American Civilian Society of the 1880'S fought the Business Administrations; The American Civilian Society of the 1880'S fought the Industrial Complex. The American Civilian Society of the 2012 is laid to 'waste'.
