1.On Tuesday, Masoud Barzani said the region will continue producing and selling oil, emphasizing that Kurds would hold a referendum on independence if Baghdad pushed them too far.

6.In early January, Turkish Energy Minister Taner Yildiz said Iraq’s Kurdistan had started flowing crude oil to neighboring Turkey, despite Baghdad’s criticism of the energy exports.
